French Renaissance chairs

Just finished “refinishing” a set of 6 French Renaissance barley twist chairs with a new coat of dark seed shellac. The chairs most likely date back to the 1880’s. Extreme care was taken not to disturb the patina that over one hundred and thirty plus years of existence had created.
